AAOU SSC Process Updates & Deadline Calendar Change
Good Afternoon,
The AAOU SSC is implementing a new process for submitting questions to our staff. Starting on Monday, 4/11/2022, you should be able to see a new drop down option on our RT page for "General Inquiries" which will be replacing our shared mailbox. Please use this new drop down option to submit questions to our staff as you would the shared mailbox, and if you need to reference any RT tickets that are open, please make sure to provide the RT number as a reference.
As well, we have noticed several instances of previously resolved tickets being reopened by department members, requesting new or further actions be taken. It is crucial to our process that a new ticket is being submitted for each request, so we can ensure proper tracking and ownership of the request. The AAOU SSC occasionally needs to redistribute department servicing assignments to our staff to compensate for large volume periods. If previously resolved tickets are reopened, and the owner of the original ticket is no longer servicing your department, your request is highly likely to get missed. If you have questions about previous tickets, please submit a general inquiry ticket, referencing the original RT number.
Finally, the AAOU SSC has several staff members attending a conference on April 28th, and in order to allow them time to attend the conference, we are moving the PR2022-024 ticket deadline from 4/26/2022 to COB Thursday, 4/21/2022. If we do not receive your request by this time, we cannot guarantee we will be able to process your request timely. The updated deadline calendar shows the update and can be found on our website.
